Playa Canela is a Bed & Breakfast hotel boutique exquisitely decorated, where the charm of its unique surroundings reflects the attention and care for every detail. Our guests are personally greeted with a refreshing drink and a bowl of fresh tropical fruits in their rooms.

AMENITIES
Start the day with a relaxing walk along the beach, after which you can enjoy a delicious breakfast served on the cool terrace; surrounded by colorful tropical gardens and exotic birds. Lounge by the pool with a cool drink and a book, or go for a refreshing swim in the calm waters of the Pacific Ocean.  Later, you can indulge yourself with a relaxing massage* in the palapa while listening to ambient music and the soothing sound of the waves.  Finish your day with a relaxing dip in our Jacuzzi, while watching the sun set in the horizon; or enjoy the view from the palapa while sipping your favorite drink accompanied by tasty local snacks.
Salinas offers many alternatives for entertainment such as aquatic sports, shopping centers, craft markets, cinemas, night clubs and discos. Several local companies offer surfing packages, as well as sport fishing, skiing, boat expeditions, and guided trips to popular tourist attractions and archaeological areas.  From June to October, you can enjoy whale watching and follow the humpback whales on their migration along the coast.

MEALS
Our accommodation rates include a delicious breakfast served with tropical fruits, cereals, yogurt, coffee or tea, home made cinnamon bread and variety of fresh fruit juices.

Please be advised that the hotel is a Bed & Breakfast, and does not offer restaurant service for lunch and dinner on a regular basis. If you wish,  with advanced notice, we can prepare you a typical home made meal for an additional charge.

TRANSPORT
Private transportation is available for an additional fee from the Guayaquil or Salinas airport to Playa Canela.
